I love to bake and decorate yummy sugar creations. It all started at Christmas a few years ago, I found Sweetopia's blog and fell in love with her beautiful cookies. I followed her tutorials and after many, many hours of work- I had my very first batch of Christmas sugar cookies.

Since then, I have made hundreds of cookies for friends and my children's birthday parties.

After that, I decided to try my hand at baking cakes. After all, my mom used to bake wedding cakes as a caterer so it was already in my blood! I enrolled in a cake decorating class on Craftsy and haven't stopped decorating yet!

My sister-in-law, Chantel,  wrote this incredibly sweet blog post about my cookies. (BTW- she is a pretty amazing cook herself and very talented at many, many things!) One thing she wrote really spoke to me: "Stacee’s cookies are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve always loved them, but I’ll enjoy them even more now that I know the amount of sweat equity and love that goes into every bite.  And they’re whimsical, too. Every time she bakes a cookie, she’s sharing a bit of herself with us." I had never really thought about how I was sharing part of myself through my creations, but it really is true. I spend hours and hours in the kitchen baking cookies that will take a group of people 3 minutes to devour. But it is all worth it- because I know how much joy it brings to adults and kids alike.
